		<description>Great post, really interesting read. Your description also sounds like the Bangkok I know, it was hard to reconcile my experiences there with the violence that was happening there a couple of months ago.</description>

		<description>April and May are the hottest months of the year here, so if you&#039;re not a fan of heat and humidity—frankly, I love the stuff—then skip them.  Monsoon season runs July to October, with the wettest months toward the end of the period. When it does rain, the clouds explode. It can last a few minutes or a few hours. Last night on my way to dinner sheets of water kept me waiting on the Sky Train platform for more than half an hour because I was too daft to throw an umbrella in my bag before heading out. It finally slowed down enough that I could scoot through the street stalls to find someone hawking an umbrella.</description>
